Dodderers TRFC
On November 22nd, 2003, history was created at two magnificent sporting venues.

The Telstra Stadium in Sydney hosted the Rugby World Cup Final, and the Magpies Stadium, Stonehouse saw the founding of the Dodderers TRFC (thus creating one of the most unlikely connections in the entire history of Sport).

An intrepid band of misfits, crocks and sporting has-beens were gathered together by the Doddermeister Foz. We played at 730 a.m. on the main pitch in front of the stand, with beer bottles for touch flags.  Afterwards we repaired to Standish Village Hall for bacon sarnies to watch the Final on a big screen.

Oh....  and England won the World Cup..... and so were two legends born!
