"We do not stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing"
from www.dictionary.com: dod·der (intr.v.)
- To shake or tremble, as from old age; totter
- To progress in a feeble, unsteady manner.
dod'der·er (n.) - one who dodders
At this year's dinner all Dodderers were asked to wear a moustache - real or fake - in support of the worldwide Men's Health "Movember" charity. Fake taches were asked to donate at least £5, and those with no taches £10!
Inspired by Neal Utting and Brian Channon - we are pleased to report that £85 was raised on the evening. Well done everyone - especially those who had grown their own "mo"! (click each image for enlarged view)
A special "naughty table" was reserved in the corner away from the others for those who had not embraced the theme.... though their generous donations were very welcome!

The Winner!
Pete Andrews for Best Home grown "mo"!
Pete confided that he had grown his tache in the shape of a "W" - as demonstrated by his facial expression... Apparently this stands for "Winger" - his best playing position!
(Suggestions are invited for other appropriate words beginning with "W" and ending in "R")
